The story behind my stories.

Some people are born to greatness, I’m not some people. Life didn't bless me with great talent. What I was given is a hard head, a belief in growth, and the stubbornness to keep improving.
By day, I work in Marketing while also serving in the Army National Guard. By night, I divide my time between my long-standing love of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and my even longer love of storytelling.
My love of stories started early. As a child, I spent countless nights whispering tales to my siblings long after bedtime. Our giggles and whispers sparked a lifelong passion for storytelling. I was always more interested in the worlds between the pages than the lessons in class, leading to a brief stint in community college before I dove headfirst into the United States Marine Corps as a combat photographer.
Life as a Marine was full of adventure and hard-learned lessons. Suffice it to say, I left with plenty of stories and more than a little cynicism. The Marine Corps wasn’t my forever home, but I wasn’t ready to leave the service behind. I transitioned into the Army National Guard while earning my bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Marketing.
If you know anything about the military, or even just remember the universal experience that was COVID, you know there’s a lot of waiting. I filled that waiting with reading. And more reading. My Kindle and Audible collections could drop jaws. Somewhere in that space between drills, downtime, and the endless turning of pages, I began to write.
Now, I have more stories inside me than I can count, and I can’t wait to share them. My two current projects are Path to Ashes and The Seven Keys Inn.
Path to Ashes is a darkly humorous tale about a martial arts instructor who just can’t seem to stop killing vampires after accidentally murdering her estranged husband’s mistress.
The Seven Keys Inn tells the story of an exhausted innkeeper struggling to keep the lights on in her magical inn. When she rescues a strange man from the brink of starvation, everything begins to unravel—or perhaps fall into place.
My writing is for anyone looking to escape reality for a little while and carry a story with them long after the last page is turned. Storytelling has always been where my heart feels most at home, and I’m so glad you’re here to be part of this journey with me.
